Keep it fresh!
It's vital to keep your website fresh and up-to-date. How often you have to do this will depend on the purpose of your website.
We generally build websites in a way that lets you, the website owner, log-on as an administrator via a web page to update and manage your content. If you can use a programme like Microsoft Word then you can manage your own content. We also offer support by email and phone so if you need a helping hand we'll be there to guide you.
For large, complex websites the management and updating of content can be tricky and time consuming. You may have someone in your organisation with the level of knowledge required. Great! If not, we offer value-for-money management contracts.
You can manage any aspect of your website
You are able to amend text and change pictures on every page. It's just like using a word processing programme. You can change fonts, text size, colours, headings as well as create links to other pages and external websites.
Add and delete pages
It's very easy to delete old pages and add new ones. Simply navigate to 'Control Panel' - 'Article Manager' and add or delete as required. You can have virtually unlimited pages. Page management is very easy with a clearly laid-out console.
You can easily add news
Updating your website with News items couldn't be easier. The News Module lets you add stories quickly and easily. You can also set a number of options for news. These include start and end dates and times. So you can upload a news article during the day but set it to publish at midnight for example. You can set end dates so that a news item is only live for a certain period of time.
Photographs and graphics
Photographs and graphics can add a lot of interest to your website. They are uploaded to your website using the built-in Media Manager. You simply 'Browse' for the photograph on your hard drive and click 'Send' to load it into your CMS. From there you can add the photograph to your website.
We offer a cost-effective management contract. The cost of this will vary depending on the complexity of the website and the frequency and nature of the management required. But it's a great way to ensure that your website is always up to date, effective and promoting your business. Read more about management contract.
